I put some 1" handlebar riser blocks on today and I find the slightly raised hand and arm and position to be very comfortable. No cable/brake line extensions required and new stainless bolts are included. $40 ~ shipped from an e-bay store below.

I'm also considering changing out the rear turn signals for a pair of front signals with dual element bulbs wired to get rear running lights. Has anyone else made this mod? They should all fit the same. I already have a LED taillight and hyperlights, but the more the merrier.

I haven't tried it but they should bolt up just fine. You'll need to reqire the rear turnsignals, as they don't have the wiring to power a dual filament bulb.

I'd tap the third line from each socket into the rear running light line. It's located close enough to the rear that you won't need miles of wire.

Also check with the DOT to find out if you can have amber rear running lights. Chances are it will be a no-go. Don't buy extra front signals before hand as you may not be able to use them on the rear.

Yeah, I know. They are required to have red lenses or red bulbs w/ clear lenses.

I decided to ditch the 1" handlebar riser blocks. The elevated hand position felt kinda like mini apes, and while a bit more comfortable, added to the wind buffeting and wind noise with my (rather) small windshield.
