Does anyone happen to know the dimensions of these bags?

I don't know the dimensions but most people say they're too small. These are what I have (http://www.gz250bike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3143) and I'm quite happy with them.

11" x 11" x 3-1/2" outside. They're small, shitty, and fake leather (vinyl?) but all I need.

Also.... burned a hole in the right one in about 3000 miles, hence the plate repair.

Wow, those are kind of small.

I was looking at something like this http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Luggag ... ags-SD4059 (http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Luggage/Motorcycle-Saddlebags/Motorcycle-Saddlebags-Leather-Like-Waterproof-Saddle-Bags-SD4059).

I have to check the measurments on the bike ot see if the length would work.

Any thoughts?

They should work fine. I have the same size bags on my bike.

No. I've had my bike/saddlebags for 3 years with no supports/no problems. They are, however, very thick/stiff leather. The rear springs hold the bags off the wheels o.k. This does not mean that ALL bags will be o.k. though.

Bag brackets are a safety issue for many bags. There is also a nice write up here on home built brackets that cost far less and do the deed. Maybe some one can find it and point you in the right direction.

I just second the motion that the Suzuki bags suck. They are not only small, but I don't like the buckle business (although it seems like it's tradition.) I do think that the saddle bag supports are a good idea. Strangely enough, there is really no connection between the Suzuki bags and the supports. It's like they were made by two different companies, neither of which had ever seen the other's product. Overall, my experience with the so called "official" Suzuki after market luggage has led me to conclude that, if you want to add stuff on to your bike, don't assume that the stuff from Suzuki is any better than anything you might find somewhere else.

The Suzi saddlebags have built-in loops to attach (wire tie?) them to the bag supports.

I agree with Alan regarding the metal bag supports. I recommend them as well.

Also..... pass on the Suzuki brand windshield for the GeeZer. Small and worthless.
