Just A quick question, Does anyone know if or how its possible to create custom fenders for the GZ,

Im thinking about trying to give my bike an Indian look, where very little wheel is showing, not to everyones taste I know but thats just me.

Found this website:
http://www.oldinc.com/oldysin.htm

Something similar to this but obviously to fit a GZ.

I apologize if this is already been discussed!

IIRC, in the last coupla years, the only posts have been "how to make the fenders smaller"

Did you contact them to see if they do them?

Take a electric saw to the plastic stock ones and make your own custom fenders.

D'oh.

Try the front plastic fender from a Kawasaki Drifter.

Check the one out I used to own here: Sarris Drifter (http://www.gz250bike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=906)

Here is the front fender new from Ron Ayers: Kawi Fender (http://fiche.ronayers.com/Index.cfm/Module/Main/TypeID/26/Type/Motorcycle/MakeID/3/Make/Kawasaki/YearID/46/Year/2005/ModelID/2914/Model/Vulcan_800_Drifter/GroupID/69455/Group/Fenders%281/2%29%28E1/E2%29)

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS FITS A GZ OR NOT!!

THIS IS ONLY FOR STYLE AND WILL PROBABLY NEED MODIFICATION TO PROPERLY FIT!!

Haha, I have finally found something in the UK.

http://www.sportingglassfibre.com/stock.htm?item=189

Could be feasible, took a tape measure to the stock fenders and it seems to add up. The only thing I'm worried about is the front calipers, may have to chop it a little.

Thanks for your help guys!

I think you'll have to split it down the middle to narrow it up, but It'll look great.

No kidding Alan. You live off the coast of Africa on an island that belongs to Spain. Shipping must be a great business to be in and there is definitely a captive market.

Note the "charging an extortionate amount". That's why it's "a great business to be in". Plus, you'd be surprised at the number of outlets that'll only ship within their own territory.
