Custom Sissy bar

Hey guys, So hears the deal. I am planning on making my own sissy bar, i have all the right equipment and tools and everything needed, i was just wondering if i could get some help to find out what the right dimensions i would need or how to measure on my bike for the dimensions or any idea's on designs or anything like that.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Have you looked at the OEM pix? (other threads on this board)

You should be able to see where it mounts...
