I ran across a deal just too good to pass up so I came home with this 1986 Suzuki Cavalcade LXE. About 900 pounds of LaZBoy like touring bike.

Slightly larger my A$$. That is a monster. It is a good example of Suzuki's answer to the Gold Wing and other large touring machines. It will likely serve you well when touring.

The extra weight will be an eye opener first time you drop it.

We finally had a a nice riding weekend so I took the Cade out for some beauty shots

So, does the bike perform as you expected?

She's a big girl! Rides nice, plenty of power and as comfortable as an easy chair. So yeah.

I have to wonder why Suzuki dropped the big touring bike from it's line up.

I wonder that too. Honda has the Goldwing, Yamaha the Star Venture Transcontinental, Kawasaki the Vulcan Voyager. and Suzuki has nothing that directly competes.
