Shift lever clearance

3 Attachment(s)
Dear all,

The shift lever on my GZ250 has a lot of movement to the sides (please see picture), it makes it uncomfortable to shift gears sometimes.

There is a noticeable clearance between the lever and the support (attached picture) and I cannot see any way to thighten it in order to diminish the clearance and movement.

Is there a way to fix this or any suggestion on how I can fix it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

You might be able to use a very thin washer or spacer but personally I would not bother. It won't fall off. You could just ignore it. The small clearance that makes it a bit sloppy is common on some machines. Enjoy your ride and don't sweat the petty things.

Me being OCD know exactly what you mean.....AS WW stated a thin washer will take up the slack.
