Marauda or gz250
 
Hi folks,on reading a lot of posts can any one tell me the difference between a gz-250 and a marauda gz-250,only cosmetics i assume.
Mine is a marauda gz-250 and after re painting the bike i still have to put my marauda tank badges back on,just curious...ken:???:

No Difference.Marauder is just the European/Canadian name for the GZ. ;) :)

Yeah we get the classy looking raised badge on the tank.

... And in the US we get the boring one called "GZ 250" with the warning stickers on the tank, and lights always on... In California they even must have a carbon canister for the fuel vapors...

PS and it's set so lean here that you can't switch the chocke off until it's really warmed up.

Re-jet the carb, drill out the brass plug, then you can adj the mixture, and you will find your bike to be preforming much better than before. This mod and replacing the front sprocket with a 16 tooth were the best mods for my GZ. CMS

Since painting the bike 2 years ago,i found my new badges still in there packaging whilst looking for something else (always the way) so tomorrow i might just put them on...Ken

This shows the positioning of the badges. Just make sure that your knees don't catch on them in your normal riding position.

I removed the stickers from my back (the Suzuki and the GZ 250 ones) Did I somehow lower the value of my bike or something or is it just aesthetic?
