Carpeted stairs are a little softer when things go wrong. Outdoor concrete stairs are a whole nudder story for another day.

not quite. she helped me get it inside. after all it is hers.

it has less than a mile on it so it's not due just yet.
i do have a sixteen tooth sprocket somewhere in the mail.
it will be a pleasure to install that (and still feel my fingers afterward).

Now is a great time to add some stuff. The bike is warm, clean, new and handy. Tools are warm, clean and handy. Turn up the lights and fire up the coffee pot.
