175 mile Breakfast Run

Our regular Sunday morning breakfast meeting at Deals Gap.

This should be titled How to have a good time riding with sport bikes. :rawk: :rawk:

We meet up at a gas station at 7:15 in Maryville, Tn.
While the last two were getting gas, I took off. It is 40 miles to the Gap from the station.

We had the Slayer breakfast, 3eggs-hash browns-bacon-biscuits and gravy-coffee all for $8.03.

We left the store to ride the Cherohala Skyway. I took a short cut thru
Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest.

While waiting on the sport bikes to catch up...

About this time I hear my buddies coming around the bend. Put the camera away and ride. We are 15 miles from Tellico Plains.

Is that really a 250???

From Tellico Plains to the house is 50 miles, about 30 of curves and the rest 4 lane. Again, while every one is suiting up, I take off.

We all joined back up on the 4 lane and rode on into town.

A good morning ride and we were home before noon.

Hell Busyweb, just take off in that direction, the way you ride it shouldn't take you but a day to get there, a day to ride where he did, and a day to get back home  .

Wow just beautiful along with a reasonably priced breakfast! Think I might plan a 2500+ mile breakfast run. Very lucky to have that beauty close to you! Great pictures too!

I never take for granted the good roads I have to enjoy.

If you have followed some of my other rides, It's not what you ride, but how you ride.

If I try to ride with these same bikes, but on my PC800, I will ride above my comfort level. With the GZ, I just take off first and give it HELL....

Thanks,

Jerry

I promise to show you some GREAT ROADS and hook you up with some great riders that know a whole more than I do about this area.

Call that a breakfast? What you need is the "full English breakfast". That's sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomato, fried bread, washed down with a couple of mugs of strong tea! :2tup:

Oh, and I nearly forgot - plenty of "brown sauce" on the sausages. :)
