scouring pad? I am a painting novice, so I just wanted to confirm that the point was to intentionally scratch up the chrome with an abrasive like that?

Any rattle can, or specific high heat? By prepping the Chrome you do just mean cleaning it off, or something else? Is there any specific danger areas to avoid with the paint?

It was the battery. Charged it for about 5 hours, then it fired right up with choke. Aired the tires, threw in some berryman's and shot down the road B)

It works fine, once it is running I can hear and feel a major difference in the engine with the throttle set to different points. I just can't get it starter anymore now.

Need some tips for colder weather starts. Even with the choke on full or at various points it just chugs, trying to start until I run the battery dead. Trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong...

Thanks guys. My commute to school take a total of 25 minutes, and only ten minutes is at 65, the rest at 55-60. Is that an acceptable amount per day for the bike?

I'm talking about my engine sound without a a helmet on, has changed dramatically to a lighter, tinny, and less powerful sound though I notice no power loss.

The odd thing is that since I went out driving tonight the sound of the ngine has changed (in town) in went from its normal throaty sound, to a much lighter, quieter, and tinny sound and I can't...
