Re: 4+ years of riding and it finally happened

Doing a lot of reading about body positioning and getting your centre of gravity as low as possible on the turns but I guess reading can only get you so far - I should probably look into lessons but...

Re: 4+ years of riding and it finally happened

Re: Hit my first 'animal' a few days ago.

Hopefully...

Re: It's just 150cc but my GZ,my baby

That's so much fancier than my gz - I had no idea a 150cc even existed either - thought it was only 125's and 250's

Re: Riding with music..

I tried it once and now I can't ride without music - I use the excuse "i can't hear anything over the engine/ in my helmet anyway" but I know it's not as safe....but it sure is more fun...

Re: Lane Splitting

I think that's normal for car drivers everywhere - A LOT of the drivers here seem to take offense if you over take them even if they're crawling along - the worst are the ones that deliberately move...

Re: Lane Splitting

As a personal rule i don't go any higher than 3rd gear but some people...

Re: Make your own nuclear reactor for your bike!

I was crying with laughter at the one that said "i ordered this 4.47 billion years ago and it arrived today - it was half empty"

I got somewhere between 3 and 4 years with mine but i quit on me last week

Re: 15 to 16 tooth, still need some answers

it'll make first gear last longer - most people here say it actually makes first gear "useful" - you should notice each gear lasts longer - you can change the rear sprocket too but most people just...

Re: Highway riding on a GZ250

Well the 16 tooth will take down the revs a bit and also take some of the strain off the engine - I don't really push my bike up past four thousand revs for extended periods of time so with the stock...

Re: Highway riding on a GZ250

16 tooth sprocket would help you get higher top speeds but it would make the bike more gutless than it already is - what little torque there is in 5th gear with a 15 tooth (stock) sprocket is almost...
