also, i can run bike w/the vacume line...

also, i can run bike w/the vacume line disconnected if i move the petcock to the by-pass posit. w/petcock in that posit fuel will drain from the tank w/out a vacume source to pull the valve open.

i richen it up (moved the needle valve up w/a thin washer, 1/32"). seems to be running much better. but, it's still not idling quite right.

i think i've gone through any/all poss vacume leak. ...

still no joy

i tinkered w/the vacume line. when i disconnected it ran just fine, but now is drawing unfiltered air into the air/fuel manifold.

i thought that might have been the problem, but now i'm begining...

Recently bike has become hard to start and idles poorly. Runs OK when at operating RPM
(going down the road). When I adjust idle to good level, it will maintain this RPM for
10-15 seconds then...
