How about a pic of that on the bike. Could be a cheap alternative for storage and portability.

Thumper, you may find an easier route by looking at soft luggage. A hard trunk would not open well due to the sissy bar. Look at the products from Cortech and Nelson-Rigg for soft luggage options...
