That's in way too far. Screw it in until is...
That's in way too far. Screw it in until is stops and then back it out 2 1/2 turns. That is a good starting point.

The pilot circuit needs at the very least to be cleaned and have a new O-Ring installed. If you bought a carb kit it probably came with a tiny O-ring. That one is for the pilot. There is a brass...

Did you rebuild the carb in an effort to fix this problem? Did you drill out the plug and service the pilot circuit?
