Plan B is to see if the dealer can get the key code, or possibly tell em how to get it (i was told by one locksmith that it's underneath the ignition barrel?). plan C is to get a locksmith out here,...

well i tried my SAE wrenches... 5/8 is too small and 7/16 is too big. had to go to work but i'll try and hunt down some metric wrenches tonight or tomorrow. grrrrrr

and i picked up a key blank...

i'm fairly certain i locked my key under the seat... :bang:

is there a way to take it off with minimal damage?

if anyone can post a picture of the bottom of the seat and the under-seat...

i had no idea there was a patron saint of lost keys. all is not lost!

it's got to be in my garage somewhere... i suppose if all else fails i can spare $50 for a locksmith. do they make house calls?

i ride to work in the hottest part of the day and...

i ride to work in the hottest part of the day and then ride home at 3am when it's cold out, so i usually have a thicker pair of gloves, a face mask, and maybe a pair of long underwear in my saddle...
