Re: Add a Tachometer

some tachs have a built in diagnostic or calibration or something like that and will go full scale when power is applied. Sounds like you got one of the tachometers that does this. Get her some gas...

Re: Engine cooler IDEA!

Yup gonna be using the port to check oil pressure! And good point with the restriction idea really gonna have to look into that!

Also I would love to have the oil go to the filter or into another...

Re: Engine cooler IDEA!

I was assuming he would be using the oil pressure test port for the supply, hence the need for a restriction to keep adequate oil pressure to the rest of the engine. I haven't had my GZ250 for quite...

Re: Engine cooler IDEA!

Re: K&N air filter and assorted carb jets.

What kind of gas mileage do you get on your 454? A PO of my vulcan 500 installed a stage 3 dynojet kit for the ninja 500 and K&N pod filters. I've been tweaking it but the best mileage I seem to be...

Re: Add a Tachometer

Like Easy Rider said, It's far more simple and cheaper to do dual fire ignition. If you wanted to do single fire you would need a cam position sensor so the ignition module can tell the difference...
