Re: Choke

When choke starting should I move the fuel switch to the "pri" setting?

Also, is 87 octane gas sufficient?

Finally, should the fuel switch be in the "on" position when parked, or "reserve?

Re: GZ250 Price advice

Bought a 2005 with 14k miles for $1500 cash! Mechanic did an inspection and gave her a clean bill of health.

Re: Auction Bike

I don't think Arizona has any gov't courses. All seem to be private.

Re: Auction Bike

***Carfax did not report it as 'salvaged' or 'junk'. On first inspection the bike looked alright, although it had some dings and scratches from what must have been a parking lot tip over.

Auction Bike

I'm meeting a private seller tomorrow for the second time. I've scheduled a mechanic to examine the bike and report on any problems. Provided he gives it a clean bill of health, I'm paying 1500...

Re: FLAT Tire

Is it worth it to add roadside assistance to the insurance package? I know towing can get expensive real quick.

FLAT Tire

I was just thinking and couldn't figure out what you do if you get a flat with a motorcycle. With a car you've got the spare, what about with a bike?

Re: GZ250 Price advice

What do you guys think about a 2001 GZ250 with over 25,000 miles? Private seller asking 2100. I'd offer 7-800 cash, given that I've found a few threads of people paying 1000 for the exact model back...

Re: Lars

Thanks guys. I'm taking a class through T.E.A.M. in Arizona. It's a two day safety course which allows you to get your motorcycle license if you pass a few tests at the end.

GZ250 Price advice

Hi Guys,

Have a few dealer options in my area.

2010 GZ250 with 3800 miles, asking $2999.......This seems steep considering that was the MSRP for a brand new bike.

2007 with 1189 miles,...
