I have the C50 (since 2007). I have 36,000+ miles on it. Great cruiser. I have made many 800+ one day trips to Florida from Indiana (and back). Cruise all day long at 80-85mph and hit 95mph going up...

Re: Need 2 know. many questions Please answer

I had a 2006 gz250 I bought in Jan 2007. It got really cold (0'f) for a few weeks and I got hurt by a horse in March 2007 so I didnt start riding it until April 2007. By October, I had 11,000+ miles...

You can go to a Suzuki dealer and buy a new 2009 GS500F for less than $3400. Most Suzuki dealers have them in stock.

Re: GZ250 top speed, more info

I owned a 2006 gz250. I put 11,000 miles on it in 6 months. My top speed was 79mph (gps). On the interstate, commuting to work, riding at 70mph, I would get 70-72mpg average. When I went to small...

Re: Is this markup normal?

If you are looking for a 250, find a dealer with 2009 Kawasaki KLX 250sf. I bought one in January for $2999. Out the door was higher because of 9% taxes, state of Florida first time titleing a...

Re: Is "All the Gear, All the Time" a minority?

I get asked every day "arent you hot in that jacket". Of course I am, but as I tell them, if I go down, Id rather sweat than bleed. I wear boots, armored jacket, gloves, full face helmet.

Re: Jack-holes on the road.

Dont worry about it. Sooner or later Darwin's theory will be applied to those stupid bike riders and they no longer will be in the gene pool.

THe throttle rocker CAN be operated with your thumb if you set them up that way. I have and used them with my thumb for over 19,000 miles now. Actually I have them setup so I can use my hand or thumb.
