The needle shim is ok, but the bottom of the needle may not seat propery if done as specified in the instruction manual.
Best to rejet. Bigger jets, and tune. =)

This happened with my bike after a little while as well. Its just an LED, and the vibration of the bike causes the switch to be thrown of a bit. Dealership covers this under war., and I ha it fixed...

Changing either will involve some "non-standard" mods, like welding the pipes.
Most who have done it find that some additional holes...

Yes, I did some research, and my mechanic is pretty sure that this should be no problem.
I am going to double check with the maker of the kit, and the parts in the kit once more before completely...
