Yeah, the tap was in the run position.

Parts are so hard to find in the UK for the 250 but they are 10 a penny for the 125 :(

No, unfortunately the 125 Petcock and the 250 are different. The 125 does not use a vacuum hose and the fuel just runs freely into the carb. I wish they were...

I must admit they are a lovely bike and being only 5 foot 5 the height isnt really an issue for me. They are available also in the UK but they are very, very expensive and highly sought after.

If only that were the case Water Warrior, even salvage companies cannot get hold of them because all 250's over here are all imported. They are incredibly rare and very few are ever sold.

At the moment the licensing laws are... If you are over 17 years of age you can legally ride up to a 125 on learner plates after passing your CBT (compulsary bike training) which you have to renew...
