well, guess what....

I sprayed some starter fluid in the air intake and when I tried to start it, it sputtered a few times, so I decided to drain the gasoline and refill with new, and it fired...

Still haven't had a chance to drain the fuel, but here's an update:
Tried starting it last night and it fired right up, ran for about 1 minute (although it seemed like the choke didn't have as much...

Thanks for the tips! I haven't gotten around to messing with it yet, I have to find something to drain the gas into.


I'm not sure, I just know my bike screwed up shortly after I filled up. lol ...

Yesterday, I rode about 35 miles, got gas, rode another mile or so to someone's house, hung around for about 30 minutes, then rode about a half mile down the road and my bike shut off at a stop sign...

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw how much synthetic oil was....so I just got Valvoline motorcycle oil. :lol:
I know everyone says synthetic is the way to go, but that stuff is...

Well I wound up getting the plug off Amazon for $3.50. I was already ordering something else and needed something cheap to put me over the $25 requirement for free shipping. :2tup:...

I was just curious, because I looked in Autozone and Advance Auto Parts the other day and couldn't find those plugs in either store. They might keep them behind the counter, though. I didn't ask...

What kind of spark plug do y'all use? Do you have to use the kind suggested in the manual, or are there others available from different companies?
Also, I've seen that the KN-136 oil filter is one...

Well, I put the choke on halfway this morning and she fired up literally as soon as I pressed the ignition. :) Thanks for the advice!



I just might do that, or I might just go ahead and buy...

I tried charging the battery and the "check battery" light on the charger was on the whole time, but after letting it sit for a while, it fired...

Starting in the cold!

It was about 40° outside this morning and my bike just wouldn't start. I kept cranking it until I ran the battery down and it never fired up. I had the choke fully closed. It was 36° yesterday...

how do you go about lubing the cable?



The cable is preventing the rear lever from springing back all the way, so it's like the brakes are really close to...

My rear brake cable doesn't spring back like it's supposed to. When I release the brake pedal, the pedal springs back into position, but the cable only moves a small amount. I unhooked the cable...

I used the 273-059 76 dB buzzers.
I wired them as described in the first post, but I'll try reversing them if you think that will make them louder.

I tried this and I can't hear a thing unless the bike is idling. Even then, it's not very loud. If I take the seat off and cup my hand around the buzzer, it sounds a lot louder, but that doesn't...
