I thought of that but even when I ride the bike on PRI I have an idle problem. PRI as you know bypasses the diaphragm and just let's the gas flow. I guess I'm a little curious why you need a petcock....

No idle unless I blip throttle for 7 secs

My 2007 GZ dies at every stop. So, what I've learned to do is after stopping I will ever so lightly blip the throttle until the bike starts idling again. So, I don't have an idling problem per se,...

This is a shot in the dark but have you checked the gas cap? Sometimes the vent gets clogged in the gas cap and so it doesn't release the gas into the carbs fast enough thus bogging down at higher...

Thanks Vegas Street rider. I've done what you're talking about. I just didn't want to have to write it down. I've adjusted the pilot screw as well. No go. I'm really trying to find out what that side...

Diaphragm on side of Carb???

Does anybody know what the diaphragm on the side of the carb is for? I'm curious if this is the culprit for my idling problem. I've heard it called the air enricher. I talked to another guy on this...

I'm not exactly sure how the diaphragm being compromised relates to the issue, however, I have never removed the petcock so it's worth a try to see what's going on in there. The line from the petcock...

Carb issue or Nature of the Beast.

Hello. For the first mile or so whenever I ride, I stall a lot and seem to only have about 75% of power before the bike really starts kicking in. It will sputter here and there but nothing crazy and...

Can you fix an RR?

Just curious if anyone has ever tried to fix a regulator rectifier instead of buying a new one. I'm having a very strange problem where my battery charges highest at idle reaching almost 14.30volts...

Rectifier grounded directly to frame?

I have quite the oddest problem with my charging where the voltage actually goes UP at IDLE and comes DOWN at 3000 RPMS. I'd say at idle I'm getting 14.3 volts and at 3000rpm I'm getting 13.6. I...

I have to replace the stator on my 2007 GZ250. The service manual is horrible. Can anybody direct me to and instruction manual on how to do this? Thanks.

Hi Guys,

I bought a 2007 GZ250 about 5 months ago and it's been great. Unfortunately, I'm starting to have starting problems. It barely cranks and as I continue to try the cranking gets more and...
