That's wierd... but yeah $27 shipping so $122 total and it'll take 6-7 business days to get there. UPS wanted $65 for ground shipping haha. USPS wins! Then I'll also order you new bolts that hold the...

I'm selling him my petcock too for an extra $20, it's brand new, been used for about 2 miles while the mechanic was workin on it. I threw away the bolts though that hold the petcock on the tank...

Uhh that slot is for the petcock. Theres no fuel guage on my bike. Ill put it together tomorrow and post a pic

I took off the head gasket and used the wooden end of the ruler, and apparently the metal end isn't that straight because the wooden end seemed to be pretty flush with the head all the way around :(

Alright, hopefully they fix it! and hopefully they can check the valves too because it's like 2 days work to take the thing apart! So I don't want to have to redo anything haha

Alright I'll probably take it to a machine shop tomorrow if they're open staurdays, if not then next week. Will they check the valves though? And my piston head is kind of charred, as are the valves,...

It would be $250 for 4 valves, 4 springs, 4 new tappets and nuts that go into the valve rocker arm, and the tools... The only thing is that I'm not sure that would even fix my problems...

Finally got the head off, I tried the water thing that Blaine mentioned in another post to see if the valves were leaking, and they're not... but the mechanic told me the valve clearance kept going...
