Dirt on the Road

I wasn't sure if this was the right place for this post....but here I go.

I live in the desert and it is common to have a little dirt on the road every once in a while. But the problem I am...

Re: Newbie Mistakes

I'm really glad you've said that. A lot of folk on here (including really experienced riders) have said that they would NEVER carry passengers, & have gone as far as removing the pillion seat. I'm...

Re: Explain tire sizing.

The cyclegear.com store near me couldn't find any tires in the stock sizes for my 2002 gz250. So I put 140/90 on the rear instead of 130/90. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: My Triumph/BMW Dealership

Our Lexus dealership (25 miles away) provides loaners for "free" ( ;) ). It has been a really nice program and we always love driving the new models around town. They also have "CROWN LEXUS...

Re: Proper parking protocol? And gear question?

I think you haven't thought it through all the way. Several of the testimonials lament the fact that it has to be "refilled" every 30 to 45 minutes. That bit about "activating" something is just...

Re: Proper parking protocol? And gear question?

Re: Going on my first ride tomorrow a few questions???

I have also found it useful to downshift when you hit the proper speed; just in case you need to start moving again. So on the GZ250, slowing from 55mph shifting to 4th when you hit 40-45, 3rd when...

Re: Proper parking protocol? And gear question?

I bought one of these http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=5000&L2=42&L3=&L4=&item=TEI_6529-S_G , and I was kinda suspicious at first. The sales guy said it worked miracles. My first time using it...

Re: A Harley Rider was NICE to me

I just recently started riding and prior to starting I always heard about the camaraderie between bikers. On my first ride out I was coming out of a corner and looked and saw a H-D rider coming in...
