Rear brake squeal and lining gauge reading?

So I got the GZ250 all ready to go for my wife, and it's running and looking good. BUT, it just started this squealing on the rear brake when you are coming to a near stop. A hard brake it doesn't do...

Good (but reasonably priced) plastic adhesive?

Anyone have anything they can recommend? I have a broken tab on one of the small filter covers that are located under the seat. It's broken in a way that you can't clamp it to hold together, so it'll...

Turn signals work, parking lights don't

Hello,

I have a 2003 GZ250 that I'm trying to get road ready asap. One problem: the running parking lights won't work, but the turn signals will.

Question 1: It seems the rear lights are not...

I leave it alone. Starting it up without a decent drive (like others said 1/2 hour min.), you'll just cause condensation and that will just help rust.

I also pull the battery out of mine and take...

That's a good idea, if I knew how to contact them and/or who was doing the instructing now. I thought of calling the Ohio DMV, but I figured I'd ask here and see if someone already had an experience...

Basic Rider Course question for those that passed but still took it a second time

My wife and I both took the Ohio Basic Rider Course for beginners back in 2011. We both passed and now have our endorsements. However, life took a turn quickly (we had a baby) soon after so I rode...

New GZ250 owner in Ohio

Hello there,

I've actually been registered for nearly three years here, but I've not been here since. I posted questions about buying a 2001 GZ250 that had a mess of a title, and passed on it.

Re: Looking for a parts bike with clean title. (and question

Believe me, it's not taking much to talk me out of this. I had other conditions that I'm not even sure the seller would agree to, but then I wouldn't buy the bike. Such as, a bill of sale that states...

Re: Looking for a parts bike with clean title. (and question

Yeah, I thought the same...then I got the guy to go down to $350 for it, so I'm torn right now. And this is a fully complete and running bike with less than 3000 miles on it.

Looking for a parts bike with clean title. (and questions)

Hello,

So I have the potential to buy a 2001 GZ250 pretty cheap. The problem is the seller doesn't have the title. He has paperwork to prove it's his, and I've checked online with the VIN and it...
