If you don't want to buy a special glue, you can use hairspray. Just spray the bar and inside of the grip really good and slide them on. The spray will dry quickly and they won't ever move.

About the bar ends...remember not to unscrew them completely. Just enough to loosen them, then grab them good with a cloth-covered pair of vice-grips or pliers and pull straight out without twisting. If you screw them out entirely, you lose the inside nut to the bottom of the bars.
