I like to wrap mine in a rubber (latex?) glove (like surgeons use) so that while I'm changing it, I can get a good grip when I put the glove on, & I don't touch the bulb with my bare hand (which is most important) (I also use a glove when I'm changing the halogen bulb in our bathroom vanity unit) :2tup:
