I think what you did was overfill it to the point where
the sight glass is below the level of the oil!
Try draining a half quart or so, then see what happens.
Remember to check the level with the bike straight
up and down, NOT resting on the kickstand. What I do is
to rst the kickstand on a short piece of 2x4.
