Normally I would post a photo from my personal archives of a GZ with those exact bars, but I've somehow lost the images over the years.
I will tell you that I have seen those exact bars, assuming they are 7/8s, mounted a GZ both in the proper orientation and mounted upside down.
The latter was.... interesting.
Shouldn't be an issue.
Just remember that wider bars make the bike feel more stable and requires less input to steer. Shorter bars will feel more twitchy and require more effort.
