Most of us use battery tenders. These are designed so you can't overcharge the battery.They're not expensive, and come with a lead that connects to the battery, with a socket on the other end. This can be run to a point under the seat, so that by lifting the seat, and plugging in the charger, you can charge the battery. Remember that the bike's battery is pretty small, and Suzuki recommend a charging current of 0.7 amps. Whatever you do, don't use a car battery charger. It'll fry the bike battery.
