GZ 250 Forums - View Single Post - Is my timing off? Bike won't run without choke and throttle

Hey guys this is my first post. I have been riding for about 6 months and have encountered my first problem.

Recently I just tightened my chain and made sure everything was properly aligned. Since doing this my bike will not turn over unless my choke is all the way on and if my idle is turned all the way up. Even once this is done I have to be pretty heavy on the throttle to just keep the bike from dying.
I'm wondering if this is because I adjusted the chain and messed with my timing??
