Re: NEW Bobber project...

Sure am glad i got a real "MC" endorsement on my license. I got pulled over at Sturgis this year after "taking off to fast from the stoplight" . It was after dark and I was trying to get past the huge RV in my left lane and catch my buddy before I lost him in the crowd of bikes...but certainly didn't burn rubber when I took off. Didn't help that is was after dark and I didn't see the cop in the SUV right behind me

Glad I had all my i's dotted and t's crossed, proof of insurance and drivers license and current tags, etc. No ticket - whew!! Just a warning...but if i had no endorsement for motorcycles - i bet i would have gotten in some trouble.

I did sell my GZ250 - and bought a bigger bike to bobber around on- a Vulcan 800. Pretty much followed the same formula for bobbing that I did on my GZ. That's all I really wanted - a bigger bobber...(400 miles to Sturgis on the 250 would have taken too long
