So ........ She's a new rider. She's only ridden the bike with pegs set further back, so she's probably still nervous about riding anything that feels the slightest bit different. Who's to say that when she has more riding experience she won't change her mind (like most women ) and want them putting back the way they were. If it were me, I'd try to persuade her to give it a chance, until she's chalked up a few more miles, and see what she says then. I'm afraid that if she truly wants to be a biker, she'll need to get used to different bikes, and not just the one she trained on. Try and persuade her to try and build up her confidence on a bike that's set up as the designers planned it.
