OMG. Surely you don't want to sit on a bike that long without getting off and stretching a bit. A tidy little 1.5/2.0 gallon auxiliary would be plenty.
The word from serious long distance riders will tell you to get off the bike after 1.5 hours at most. You will be much relaxed and awake after a stretch and a 5 minute break. Be it a gas stop, smoke break, coffee or picture time.
The best trip Lynda and I had took 13 days and we only rode 550 miles.
