I know we've always said not to exceed 2A, but, just out of curiosity, I checked the manual. It states, "0.7A for 5 to 10 hours, or 3A for 1 hour. Be careful not to permit the charging current to exceed 3A at any time." Wonder why we've all come up with 2A?

I have a 2 amp charger. I have never seen a 3 amp charger. And just maybe we are being cautious with a 2 amp rule. Why cook a good battery.
