HI!
I am the proud new owner of a 1999 GZ 250 ! Its Dark Green, and at the moment will not start. I am a mechanic by profession and it wont be long before She is up and running! I've already gotten some ideas from the tech area and am anxious to try it.

As my screen name implies I am a Harley Owner. I traded in my Roadking for a new Electraglide back in 02, and I am currently making payments on an 03 Heritage black/silver 100th anniv. Edition.

I've been riding since I was old enough to crawl up on a minibike back in the 1970's. My Parents bought me a Silver Cloud that had a 5hp Tecumseh,and a chrome fuel tank!

I bought the GZ to use at the Sun N Fun fly in Lakeland Florida.
The current bike I've been using there is a 91 Yamaha Virago 1100.
That bike, although it sits low and is easy to handle, you have to slip the clutch way too much and by the end of the week I gotta use duct tape to keep a beer in my hand at night :-)
I escort airplanes on the field during that week as a volunteer. They land and our group escorts them thru the crowds and to their parking areas. We keep people and propellers separated.
A friend who volunteers there used the bike I bought until it wouldn't start.
He liked it so much He just bought a newer one. He is a boat captain that charters diving trips more than He is a mechanic. I know He took good care of the bike so I had no problems buying it for $800. Did I get a good deal or was I rooked??
Anyway, thanks for reading my book! I'm looking forward to getting help and giving it once I become familiar with this Suzuki, which by the way is the first one of that make I've ever bought.
