Just picked up a 2000 GZ250 today, but it needs an ignition module. I can get the bike to run using an old Ducati CDI box, but doesn't run well. I assume the a timing curve issue with that CDI, and the carbs likely need love.

I searched around on the site and was unable to find a thread on alternate parts, or cross-referenced parts. I was hoping to find it stickied somewhere. Therefore, I am starting the thread here. Post alternate parts you have found that work.

I would like to ask if anyone has found an alternate ignition module. The GN250 looks like it could be made to work, the only issue I worry about is timing. Could it be much different? Anyone tried a completely different ignition module?
