We are actually a hard to find group or even an individual. We are spread all over the planet. Also many of us have moved on to another bike but still show up here to help along new riders with our experiences(good or bad)in the hopes of enlightening the uneducated before throwing a pile of cash at a $5 fix.
We haven't had Lynda's GZ since 2009 when she upgraded to a Suzuki M-50. Lynda was a nonrider until 2006. She is living proof that proper rider training and a GZ are a great duo for a new rider. Her career as a riding Grandmother was 5 years of accident/mishap free pleasure. Her final ride was a 5,000 km trip that she did alone. I wasn't even invited nor was I insulted. She wanted to do it alone and I know from experience that lone riding is a pleasure to many folks.
I have gone astray again. Group riding has it's benefits but please be sure you know the other folks you ride with. Having a RickyRacer in a group will be dangerous to all involved. I rode with 6 or 7 folks who wanted to get there fast with the exception of one nice young gal with the same goals as myself........... ride safe, enjoy the scenery and get home unscathed.
