Don't despair! Just because you're not happy doing it doesn't mean it's difficult for someone else An electric jig saw with a fine blade, followed by an orbital sander with fine glass paper, should see the job finished in an hour at the most. Just don't forget to mark the cut with a marker pen BEFORE you remove the screen. Also, if you cover the area where you're going to mark, with masking tape, you're marking this, not the screen, so if you get it wrong you can rip it off & start again, without messing up the screen. Also, the guy with the saw will be able to see the line better, & he can rip off the masking tape after cutting, & before sanding. :2tup:
