dead bike and gas

hi guys I have bought 3 bikes since i have picked up the gz a pc800 a ninja650 and a chetak150 but the gz250 still has got my love and gets ridden. funny story today i tried to drive it to go to the store and i made it to the end of my driveway

First the bike was hard to start then it sputtered and then died .

I thought maybe it had run out of fuel but the petcock was on i turned it to prime and gas started flowing down the bike from a tube near the top of the carb .

i pushed the bike to the garage and there she sits . would a sticky float bowl do this? much thanks

I would have a closer look,as it sounds like your fuel line may have came off the carb.If this is not the case, than, yes your floats sticking can cause the carb
to flood.Make sure you check & drain the air box if needed,as the fuel will flood the air box.
