how's everyone doing out there?? my name is mario and i purchased my gz about 4 months ago and the moment i drove it home it was stripped. i think i might be the 1st or 2nd person to bob-out a gz250, ive seen the other dude with the monoshock but i guess he never finished his build or posted any new pics so anyways, here she is..2005 gz250 aka "shishcabobber". any questions feel free to ask. thanks.

Leaving aside my many, many, MANY questions as to the merits of such a transformation, I gotta ask - why ruin it with the HD logo? Wouldn't a supersized "S" have fit the theme better?

I beleve that's a harley tank off a sportster.Look closely at narrow tank and gas cap.

Yes you would be correct, I don't know if it is off a sportster, but it is definitely a harley gas tank.

I don't understand doing this to a bike either, not dissing you for doing it (to each his own and all that) but I just don't see why personally. But I definitely give you an A+ for effort and the balls to go out there and be different.

That being said, this project probably could pay for itself, you could sell all the parts you took off the bike and get a pretty penny. :rawk:

The bike will certainly weigh less now, should be a little quicker and faster. Might be a fun ride for a short distance.

You're right on track about being different. That's what it's about. Creating something to talk about and to show others your handiwork.

I agree about the tank too. Repaint that HD crap off there.

Good question. Also with that rotating rear tire 1/2" from my butt, I think I'd be squeezed up on that tank like I was making a baby.

It's different OK. Can't imagine riding that in rain or on any sandy road. It's not illegal to have absolutely no fenders?

I agree. Also, there are no rear directionals on that bike from what I see.
