Insurance Info!?!

Howdy Folks, I just got my M1 a short time ago and now I am trying to get insurance
for my bike. (So I can get the plate for it) Must places are quoting me between
$1200 - $1450 for a year [without a course] and a few told me if I took the course
that the price would drop by $300 - $450. What I am wondering how does that
work, if I got the higher price insurance then in 60 - 75 days I take the course
would my insurance drop after that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

P.S. = I live in Ontario, Canada

I think so.Man your rates are high.Here on the Island they are around $400.00 to $450.00 for a new rider.

Insurance costs in most parts of the GWN are beyond reason. That is one of the reasons I bought an old used bike. Anything over 25 years of age in stock condition can be insured as a classic in B.C. which is 20% of a newer bike insurance rate.

In Canada it is a punishment for not riding a bus. My 2007 Ranger is over $100 a month with a 40% discount for a clean driving record and not driving to work every day.

Just be glad you don't live Down Under. From what I've read the price is even worse than the GWN.
