Hit my first 'animal' a few days ago.

I was exploring a single lane back-road, it only went a couple miles before turning into a dirt road, so I turned around. About halfway back I came upon a rattlesnake writhing in the middle of the road. Its head and rattle were lying a couple feet from the body.
