Mmmmm ..... Just learned another alternate word. American zip ties = English tie wraps.

Nope, they're also called tie wraps here. Depends on what part of the country and what industry you're in. O_o

Thanks Easy for the clarification. Was in a hurry when I typed in the reply. My next project will be an electronic flasher in the Vstrom.

Believe it or not I have met a couple really smart gals in the local big box store that would know exactly what they were. Hmm, you have given me an entertaining idea for tomorrow. :lol:

Wow, they are also called "tie wraps" hunh? I have never heard that - always heard 'em called zip ties. I wonder if maybe it is an 'east of the mississippi' thing...?
