47 tonight ... foggy as all hell!!! but im not passing up the temperature lol. Takin the bike out for a bit.
Dudeeeeee.
Talk about fog.
Last night it was about 62 but there was this fog. Man i couldn't see more then 6 feet in front of me! I was cruising at about 35 when this huge jacked up truck rode on my ass for about 10 minutes he could easily have squashed me.i got to a side road to pull over and let him pass me even though there were several times on the two lane road he could have legally passed me. Odd how they can risk my life by riding my ass but cant risk their own by passing me. Anyway I pull onto the highway at the end of the back road and the fog gets thicker. Then it started coating the inside of my helmet shield. So I lift my shield and i have about 6 feet of visibility again. Cruising 45 down the highway I finally reach my buddies apartment complex and pull over. A normally 15 minute ride took me easily 40. I spent the night so i didn't have to do it again. But now its like 78 degrees outside!!

Re: Brrrrr

I had the same problem last night. Very thick fog ... coming down a hill some jerkoff was riding right on my ass. And i wasnt going slow either! I just don't get the mentality of some people. Its those douchebags that you want to get to a red light, walk back to and slap them in the head.

Re: Brrrrr

I haven't ridden since November because two wheeled toys don't agree with ice and snow. I had 8' drifts in my driveway on Christmas day. Not only that, but here in Idaho, riding to work in the mornings, I don't believe that it ever was above +/- 50-60 degrees.

I wear a "windproof" jacket under my leather riding gear in the a.m. It makes a huge difference. You could probably find one with nearly the same insulation capacity as your hoodie and not add any bulk to your setup. As far as the face is concerned, sounds like you got it covered.

Enjoy! :rawk:
