Re: Windshield question again

Sure. It kept the wind off the hands nice and it was big enough to keep the wind off the body.

LOL It was tall. But I was still able to look over the top of it and I'm only 5'8". It did give protection in all conditions.

Re: Windshield question again

Here's a few pics of the SS28 on my bike - I think it was a 15" height (or maybe it was 18"), but it deflected the wind over my head, and very well protected my hands which was good in the cold.

The SS 28 looks pretty good. And real crash bars too. :2tup:

Re: Windshield question again

From MC Enterprises.
That was a real nice bike and I made it just the way I wanted it, then, like everything and everyone else, I moved on to bigger and ? better things.

Re: Windshield question again

I put MC bars on Lynda's M-50. They seem to be a quality product with a good finish.

Re: Windshield question again

FLAJIM. Clear or tinted shields are a personal choice sometimes determined by price, availability and asthetics. Hunkered down behind a tinted shield in the rain after dark would be a consideration for safety. Under normal conditions you want to be looking over the top edge of the shield for the best view and less reflections.
A handy tip for everyone. Shields get scratched and marked with use. Polish the shield with Lemon Pledge after cleaning.
