New gz250 owner

Hello. I purchased not one but two gz250 yesterday . One is a 2009 ( with title) and the other is 2002 ( no title) . They are not in running condition, and I will focus on the 2009( title bike) to get it running. I know I will need new battery, spark plug, oil and filter, air filter, brake fluid flash, carb clean, and I will want to do fork oil and seals. It is a lot of stuff, but I got both of them for $600. I hope I can find lots of information on this forum. Thanks in advance for all your help and experience with the bike. My primary ride is a Honda CTX 1300 Deluxe, I also own 2006 Honda Rebel 250 and a Kawasaki EN 450. I currently reside in Illinois Chicagoland area. All the help and info is much appreciated. Good luck on your project and welcome to the forum. It's nice that you were able to get an additional donor bike for parts. Should be fun. I love my '09' GZ.
