New Rider

I just bought me a 2006 about a week ago and I love it. I had a Night Hawk 750 about 4 years ago, but I love the GZ250. I know very very very little about the bike; basically just know how to ride. I know this site will be able to help me out with maintenance and upkeep. Look forward to hearing some great feedback.

We seem to be getting a lot of new members from 'Bama lately.

Welcome!

Have you had the GZ in any "twisties" yet ? If not, you will probably find that it handles a LOT differently than the Hawk. Take it easy the first time or two. I had a HUGE tendency to oversteer the first time in tight curves.

Yo bama, welcome from LA. That would be Lower Alabama, for the uninformed, we in northwest Florida get it though. :2tup:

Ditto on the twisties around B'Ham, take it easy untill you get a real "seat of the pants" feel for the little geezer.
