Re: 2003 parting out.

Do you have any of these parts left: handlebars, front sprocket cover, speedometer cable/hub?

The handlebar was bent, so no...front sprocket cover (counter shaft cover from engine), yes, I'll have to check on the speedo cable, but I am pretty sure the housing is on the front rim.

Re: 2003 parting out.

Okay, I think I'm done with my attempt at fixing my rim on my own. Finding someone in Louisville to true the rim is a loss. Even after my friend's attempt it's not really that close. I think someone might have been wrong with it in the first place, before I changed the spokes. You mentioned the rear rim is true, was the tube/tire damaged as well? I still have the tube and tire I bought for my project, but I'd be happy to have one ready to pop on if the tread is decent. I want to ride again.

Re: 2003 parting out.

Do you still have items for sale? I'm looking to purchase the "dogbones" or handlebar holders. The parts that connect the handlebars to the triple tree. If so, are yours useable? How much are you asking?
thanks,
Pamela
