Just Got My !st GZ250

Well, I did it. I bought my first motorcycle. It was a toss between A 2004 Honda Rebel 250 and 2007 GZ250. Both bikes were very nice but the fine people on this site sold me on the GZ250. I bought it in Erie PA this past sunday (1/6/19) for $900.00

It has about 2400 miles on it an it actually runs fine. So here are some pics. I cant wait to ride it...

Any advice for a first time owner???

Congrats and welcome! You got a really good deal on your bike, with a windshield too? That's pretty awesome. Don't forget to get a battery maintainer and some fuel stabilizer (and run the bike or drain some fuel through the carb to get the stabilizer in there).

Do a thorough inspection before you hit the road. Check tire pressure, clean and lube the chain if needed, check for loose nuts & bolts, check your wheel spokes, and if you are not sure when the last oil change was, take care of that too. Check your chain for proper tension and your air filter too. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. Also remember ATGATT (all the gear, all the time). Safe riding!
